Mercy Hospital was founded in 2007 to meet the serious need for medical care in Sierra Leone. Today, Mercy Hospital treats 10,000 patients a year regardless of their ability to pay. The majority of Mercy's patients are seen at Mercy's outreach clinics, where HIV, prenatal, malaria, and nutrition are provided to 45 villages in the Bo region that otherwise would not have the ability to obtain medical care.
