2022 NSO Holiday Elf Program

COVID-19 EDITION

NSO’s Holiday Elf Program has also been modified to minimize social contact protecting our clients, staff and donors.

Make the holiday special for a formerly homeless individual receiving services at the NSO Bell Building, Clay Apartments and emergency shelter. Their holidays will be warm but may also be lonely.

We are asking our Holiday Elves to donate $25 gift cards from one of the locations listed below to allow our clients to buy something they need this year. Gift Cards from the following stores are easily accessible to our clients by foot or public transportation. Gift Card Stores: Aldi, CVS, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, or Meijer.

Our goal is to bring a Holiday Smile to 375 formerly homeless individuals by providing them each with a $25 Holiday Gift Card.

Your monetary gift to the NSO Holiday Elf Program will be used to purchase gift cards for formerly homeless individuals.

We facilitate dreams by promoting equity for all, using innovative solutions to bridge gaps in housing, health, and well-being.

Neighborhood Service Organization’s (NSO) compassionate and professional staff provides services that have impacted countless children, youth, adults, seniors, families, and communities since 1955. We deliver holistic care and wraparound/safety net services to address social determinants impacting health, education and economic stability.

NSO’s empowering programs and services provide assistance for: older adults with mental illness; children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities; homeless recovery services; housing development; community outreach for psychiatric emergencies; and volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, and organizations.
