thank you

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 30-20-10 anniversary party! It meant a lot to us to have you there. If you missed the party you can see pictures on Facebook here.

join our Carpenter's Club

You can help us build for another 30 years and beyond by joining our 30-20-10 Fundraising Campaign. Become a member of our brand new “Carpenter’s Club” as a recurring donor! Your monthly pledge will be something we can count on, adding strength and stability to our organization so we can reach more families in need of safe, decent, affordable homes.

A $30 monthly donation celebrates 30 years of building thriving communities. If $30 doesn't work for your budget, consider $20 to celebrate 20 years of ReStore or $10 to celebrate 10 years of Health and Home. Every donation makes a difference in moving our mission forward.

volunteer spotlight

Name: Laura Goltry

How long have you volunteered with HFHQC? My first house with HFHQC was house #23 (2002?). My first experience with HFH was in Kansas City through a campus chapter in 1988.

What is your favorite construction/volunteer activity? I enjoy the entire process of building the house and seeing the process from beginning to end.

WHY do you volunteer with HFHQC? I enjoy working with all the other volunteers and getting to know the partner families. The families and volunteers are the best people in the Quad Cities.

What do you do when you are not volunteering with HFHQC? I am an elementary special education teacher. I also enjoy riding my bike, reading, and traveling.

Thank you Laura for sharing your time and talents with us for all these years! Good luck in Maine with your new Habitat. We are going to miss you. You will always have a Habitat family back here in the QC!
