IVHFH's annual auction fundraiser for Women Build is fast approaching! Join us on October 17 for a unique view of Kinnick Stadium, heavy appetizers, desserts provided by Catered by Charlotte, a live auction hosted by Brent Wears of Wears Auctioneering, music by Alan Swanson of Blank and McCune, The Real Estate Company, and more—all to support affordable housing solutions in our community! The best part? You can celebrate the evening with Women Build Honoree Billie Townsend and future homeowners Nagi and Raddiya.

Saturday, July 27th marked the Billie Townsend Women Build Groundbreaking Ceremony and Frame-A-Thon events hosted by Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity. Dozens of individuals, families, and organizational leaders gathered to celebrate as the crew broke ground on Nagi and Raddiya’s future home. Then, everyone transitioned to the Habitat warehouse to decorate the 2x4 studs that will frame their family’s living space.

As my fiancé captured some of the event’s most candid moments, I recognized that we weren’t just preparing to frame Nagi and Raddiya’s home but also their future...

Thanks to hundreds of volunteers, we are making significant progress in constructing Habitat homes honoring our dear friend William "D'Grouch" Laubengayer. William was generous with both his time and resources to support our work, and you can be part of his legacy by making a contribution and/or volunteering.
