As 2024 ends and 2025 begins, Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity (UCHFH) reflects on a year of blessings, expressing deep gratitude for the continued support of its community. This support enabled the completion and planning of five new Habitat houses, and serving diverse families in the region. UCHFH also expanded its team, with new promotions and hires to strengthen its mission. The ReStore in Cookeville continued to thrive, and the annual Cooking on the Square event raised a record-breaking $160,000. Looking ahead, UCHFH plans construction projects in several counties and an expanded repairs program. The organization requests prayers for affordable housing, the well-being of Habitat homeowners, wisdom in stewardship, and the ongoing merger with Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County. They also encourage prayerful consideration of ways individuals and organizations can support their mission, whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer efforts. In closing, UCHFH expresses heartfelt thanks for the community’s support and looks forward to serving God and others in the coming year. |
