Enterprise-level security for your nonprofit software operations.
We encrypt our customer's data from login to logout using the highest encryption standards available, including 256-bit SSL encryption. We encrypt all donations and payments made at the highest security standard - PCI Level 1 Compliance (the same technology that the banks use to keep your account information safe).
We offer the use of secure servers. All supplied sensitive and credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers but on certified data centers with SSAE16 certifications, 24x7 monitoring.
The PCI DSS certification process is designed to protect your sensitive data. Our payment gateway partners ("PayPal", "Stripe") are certified Level 1 PCI Compliant Service Provider (the highest level), which requires an annual independent security audit of our processes and systems. We test our system daily (manually and automatically) to ensure security.
Giveffect uses state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms during data transmission (HTTPS with RSA 2048 bit key and SHA 256 certificate) and in our databases (AES 256 encryption with unique per-row keys).
Our Payment Partner ("Stripe") ensures that your money is held in a protected account by our FDIC-insured or CDIC-insured partner bank, so your funds are never at risk.
